A 12-month warranty applies to the metallic / chemical / painted finish of product and all ancillary items.  This includes any brass products that have been lacquered to stabilise a living finish.

We are satisfied that the defect in the goods is not due to wear and tear, accident, misuse, improper operation, neglect, failure due to incorrect installation or installation by unqualified personnel or improper cleaning/maintenance.

The goods have not been altered or used to carry loads or for any purpose other than for its intended use.

The cost of labour is paid for by the purchaser

All electric elements are given a 12-month warranty.

Many of our product finishes are “living finishes” that will age and patina.  This is not considered a fault.

DELIVERY:

In most situations, your goods will arrive on time.  On rare occasions they may be delayed for various reasons.  We recommend NOT booking your plumber or electrician until the product has arrived and you have checked that all items are present and there is no damaged.  We will not reimburse for wasted tradesman visits.

All products must be examined upon delivery, checking that no damage has occurred during transit. If transit damage is found, notify the driver immediately and sign the delivery card accordingly. If you are unable to fully check the goods at the time of delivery, you must inform Maybrays Radiators as soon as possible of any damage with photos of the products and packaging.

When unpacked, if a fault is found on the product, or an item is missing, contact us immediately. We give 3 days from date of delivery for you to inspect the product and contact us if any scratches, blemishes or other obvious damage are present. After checking, repack the item in its original packaging in order to prevent it becoming damaged.

We aim to deliver our products to your door, this is only possible when we are transporting goods using our own transport.  For areas not in our delivery zones, a courier will be used. Deliveries are usually made by courier between the hours of 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday. PLEASE NOTE that couriers UK wide are only insured to deliver kerb/roadside, therefore, you may have to bring the radiator(s) into your property yourself and for large or heavy items you may require assistance.

IMPORT DUTIES:

The purchaser explicitly undertakes and agrees to pay all costs arising from import and export duties, levies, surcharges temporary or otherwise and all other charges, imposed by Government during the existence of his purchasing contract with the Maybrays Radiators

CANCELLATION:

All our brass products are made to order and cannot be returned unless faulty.  Please check all dimensions, outputs, finishes including colour and accessories before placing your order as changes will not be made once goods are in production.  This includes dual fuel and electric models and any coloured column radiator.  These are deemed as specials and are not returnable.

UNWANTED RETURNS:

Stock items (i.e. RAL 9016 Traditional Column Radiators) can be returned within 14 calendar days from the date they were received.  We ask that we are notified as soon as possible.

  • Returns of stock items that are not required may be subject to 20% re-stocking charge
  • There will be no re-stocking charge if the customer has ordered incorrectly and orders a replacement
  • Carriage costs will be applied at £50 for your goods to be collected
  • Goods must be available for collection on their original pallet/packaging and in condition for resale
  • A photo of the goods on their pallet may be required
  • We will not be held responsible for damage during transit
  • If original packaging has been discarded, let us know and we will make arrangements if possible to get the goods wrapped suitable for transit.  Handling charges may apply

As previously mentioned, Bespoke, Specials and Coloured Radiators are not returnable unless faulty

REPLACEMENTS:

Any products delivered faulty will be repaired free of charge where the responsibility of the fault lies with workmanship of the product. The delivery period for the replacement product will be subject to current availability.  Re-installation and/or removal charges are the responsibility of the purchaser.

DEZINCIFICATION/CORROSION:

We do not recommend fitting our products on a softened water system.  This may cause corrosion to occur of which we have no control.  We will not be held responsible for failure due to corrosion.  Check before ordering that the towel rail is suitable for your system. Your Installer or Local Water Authority will be able to help.

PURCHASERS LIABILITY:

All goods supplied are only for the purpose for which they are specifically designed.  We do not accept any liability whatsoever for damage, injury or death caused as a result of the goods being used for any other purpose.

We strongly advise that the products are installed as soon as possible or stored safely to minimise accidental damage.  Products left around whilst properties are undergoing any degree of renovation or waiting for an installer are at risk of damage.

All products should be used for their intended purpose.  Dropping, falling or applying excessive weight on them may result in a damage beyond economical repair.
